“Commodities and markets in general are still under control of the already same old dominating forces – Russia-Ukraine conflict, container shortage, currency havoc and escalating worldwide inflation – and while Oil seems to be cutting some slack from its incredible upward sprint, on the other end the uncertainty and general lack of direction brough sugar and other commodities premiums up, nullifying the downtrend we have been following on prices on the last weeks, thus not really helping in bringing the actual purchasing cost down.

Booking confirmations are coming by slowly but steadily and despite the rise in ocean freight prices we are managing to keep our favorable conditions within Carriers servicing our shores.”
